Martha Nord

Martha has worked with children her whole adult life, as a teacher, home day care provider, parent, and foster parent. She believes in the power of presence: showing up for kids by enjoying time with them, listening to them, and making sure they know they are valued.

She and her husband Dave were foster parents for ten years. During that time, she learned the value of peer and community support for foster families and is happy to now be able to give that to current families.

Tatum Romaniuk

Tatum connects her passion for addressing youth needs with her passion for law. A full-ride scholar in the Maurer School of Law, Tatum’s sharp mind as well as her childhood experiences provide her with a roadmap of how many things can go wrong for children. She works to right these wrongs.

Shayla George

Shay combines her interest in non-profits, psychology and her lived experience in the foster care system as she works to connect community resources to the families we serve. Her work in the Indiana Youth Advisory Council and as City Commissioner on the Status of Women informs her work as well as ours.
